A series of training campaigns for Al-quds Open University students in Bethlehem under the supervision and follow-up of Laylac center.
In the context of series training campaigns that carried out by the Laylac center for students of Al-quds Open University, the first group which consist of 6 students from Al-quds Open University started to make a study of the needs of Palestinian society generally, and they have given a particular attention for Palestinian village called Job Al-Theeb which is located in Bethlehem. This village doesn’t contain the minimum of necessities of life such as the electricity, water, schools and kindergartens. As a result, the 6 students decided to create an kindergarten in the village, it can accommodate up to 20 students each year. A women committee have been created to make a contact with some official institutions and local councils in order to consolidate the project and follow it up. The kindergarten was opened in 10-5-2015, after the joint action between the committee and some companies which has helped the infrastructure to be valid. The opining was attended by group of people of the village and the relevant institutions, the number of attendees was about 70 person. In addition, a follow-up committee was established in order to ensure the continuity of the work of the kindergarten and the efficiency.
