Laylac Palestinian youth and action center has organized a discussion session titled as “The Black Panthers” within a series of activibties by the cultural circle. Wednesday July 21st 2016 at 6pm. Twenty activists have participated in the discussion coming from different backgrounds and places. Graig, our guest who is a professor and an activist introduced the history of the party and its connection with the black American community. And during the discussion the activists connected the dots between the Palestinian struggle and the black struggle in America, as Laylac sees the importance in connecting these dots and drawing these similarities with other struggles in the world.
The participants showed a high interest in the topic and the discussion and the importance of exchanging experiences between the two causes. This activity is only a part of a series of future discussions the cultural circle will organize in Laylac. These activities will aim to enhance the knowledge of the Palestinian youth on various other humanitarian causes across the world.
